Stanislas Leszczynski, born in 1677 in Leopol in the Republic of the Two Nations (current Lviv, in Ukraine) and died on February 23, 1766 in Lunéville, is a Polish aristocrat, King of Poland from 1704 to 1709 then from 1733 to 1736 under the name of Stanislas I and Grand Duke of Lithuania within the framework of the Republic of the Two Nations, father-in-law of Louis XV (1725), Duke of Lorraine and Bar from 1737 until his death.
