History: Crédit Foncier de France created a subsidiary in Algeria in 1880: Crédit Foncier et Agricole d’Algérie. It extended its activities to Tunisia in 1909, absorbing Crédit Foncier de Tunisie and taking the name Crédit Foncier d’Algérie et de Tunisie, then to Morocco in 1913.
It takes the name of Central Banking Company (CFAT).

In the center, the inscription Société Centrale De Banque on a stylized France with 5 branches, each bearing the name of the regions: Nord , Bourgogne , Provence , Midi-Pyrénées and Normandy .

In front of a radiant sun , a fortified stone tower from which emerges a fruit tree , flanked by the dates 1880 and 1980 .
