Biography :
An intern at the Lyon hospitals in 1888, a doctor of medicine in 1892, he was head of Raphaël Lépine’s work at the medical clinic of the Hôtel-Dieu.
He was president of the medical society of the Hospitals, and, from 1899 until his death, editor of Lyon médical.
In 1924 he founded the General Association of the Internat. He was also the first president of the Lyon branch of the French Society for the History of Medicine.
