Source Wikipedia: It is largely thanks to the work of Doctor Jean Roget that the medical school on Rue Lesdiguières obtained the status of “mixed faculty of medicine and pharmacy of Grenoble” in 1962 and that it moved in 1967 to the Domaine de la Merci in La Tronche, in the immediate vicinity of the civil and military hospitals. In October 1967, the first building (with its anatomy laboratory) to which is given the name of Dean Jean Roget welcomed its first students.
